Diwata Sa Salamin Print
Originally, I had planned to submit this piece to a 2026 exhibition that was held in Long Beach, CA for International Woman's Month but due to time constraints, I was unable to submit it.
Diwata Sa Salamin, which means Goddess in the Mirror is that confident, career-oriented individual. She's the young lady figuring out her identity/purpose in life. She could be the single mother trying to make ends meet, or the woman picking herself up to pieces after an abusive relationship. The Diwata Sa Salamin encompasses EVERY woman from all walks of life.
This beautiful piece was strongly inspired by the works of Filipino artist, Cholo Ayuyao. I love his fabulous and immensely creative works on dolls, couture, doll photography and costume/fashion design.
IMPORTANT NOTE TO INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:
Unfortunately, we are unable to ship canvas prints internationally due to potential damage during transit, customs confiscation, or delays. As an alternative, we highly recommend purchasing a digital download. This option is more cost-effective and eliminates the risk of damage or shipping issues. Plus, you’ll have the flexibility to print it locally at your preferred print shop. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
