Sapin Sapin Print

Here is the Sapin Sapin rice cake reimagined. "Sapin" means layer. I was trying to figure out ways to make this average looking dessert look interesting, and this was my take. Here we see three individually flavored/colored Filipinas: Ube, Buko, and Langka "layered" and resting upon each other. Over their heads, are sprinkles of latik, or toasted coconut milk curd. They lay of a thin piece of banana leaf and framed by Sampaguitas.
